The all-new 2026 Subaru Uncharted marks the brand's latest step into the EV landscape, delivering electric power, confident handling, and the versatility drivers have come to expect. Slated to arrive at Zeigler Subaru of Schererville in early 2026, this all-electric compact crossover offers multiple trim levels and performance profiles, including a high-output dual-motor setup.
Performance Configurations
The Uncharted will be available in Premium, Sport, and GT trims. The Premium is front-wheel drive and expected to deliver over 300 miles of range with 221 horsepower, offering excellent efficiency for drivers around Schererville and Crown Point. The Sport and GT trims bring dual-motor all-wheel drive, producing up to 338 horsepower with an estimated 0–60 time under five seconds and a range of up to 290 miles.
A 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery provides the foundation for all configurations. Fast-charging from 10% to 80% takes around 30 minutes, even in cold conditions, thanks to an onboard battery preconditioning system. Whether commuting in Dyer or venturing through Indiana's winter roads, the Uncharted is engineered for daily practicality.
Design and Technology
The Uncharted is a conveniently compact model—shorter than the Solterra—making it agile in urban settings like downtown Portage or Crown Point. Unique styling details include available 20-inch wheels, a two-tone roof on GT models, and a signature illuminated Subaru badge. The Uncharted offers generous rear-seat legroom and more than 25 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, making it suitable for family outings or gear-heavy weekends.
Technology is another strong suit. A standard 14-inch touchscreen supports wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, while dual wireless chargers and USB-C ports serve front and rear passengers. Subaru's EyeSight® suite of safety features is standard across all trims, with available upgrades like Traffic Jam Assist and panoramic view monitoring on upper trims.
