Zeigler Subaru of Schererville Supports Next Move - Lansing, IL - Joshua S
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Schererville, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Zeigler Subaru of Schererville is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Zeigler Subaru of Schererville have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 02/19/2025, Zeigler Subaru of Schererville donated 120 shoes/socks to Next Move - Lansing, IL. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Subaru Loves to Care - Rylee H
For the past 3-4 years, Zeigler Auto Group in Schererville, IN has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Comer Children's Hospital through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to pediatric cancer patients. On June 17th, 2025, Zeigler Auto Group personally delivered these care packages to the nurses at the entrance of the children's hospital.

I recently took part in a blood drive hosted by my local Subaru retailer, and it was such a rewarding experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made everything easy and welcoming. It was clear they truly cared about making a difference. What stood out most was how many people showed up—employees, customers, even walk-ins from the community. Everyone was there for one simple reason: to help others. It reminded me how powerful small acts of kindness can be, and how much good can come from businesses that care. This is what the Subaru Love Promise looks like in action.

Beach Cleanup - Joyce R
I spent my Sunday morning at a beach cleanup hosted by Ziegler Subaru of Schererville, and I have to say - it was such a great experience. It felt good to give back, meet some awesome people, and do a little something real for the environment. We picked up a ton of trash (who knew there'd be that many bottle caps?!), and by the end, the beach looked so much better. I've always loved that Subaru talks about caring for the Earth, but seeing it in action like this made it feel even more genuine. It wasn't about selling cars - it was about showing up for the community. I'm really glad I was a part of the cleanup.
Meals on Wheels NWI Blizzard Box Deliveries - Jenifer O
It's AMAZING how a little love goes a long way! Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana is so excited to shine a light on the associates from Zeigler Subaru of Schererville. During Subaru Share the Love Campaign and one of the busiest holiday weeks of the year, these caring Zeigler Subaru staff helped us deliver more than 200 shelf stable food packages to our clients. Each year, we supply our clients with blizzard boxes to keep on hand during times of inclement weather that may prevent us for delivering. With their help we were able to get them in the hands of our clients before the extreme winter weather visits the Region! Thank You So Much!

We are incredibly grateful to Zeigler Subaru of Schererville for their unwavering support and partnership in helping us find loving homes for our shelter pets this year! Their thoughtful new pet parent boxes have brought so much happiness to both our furry friends and their new families. Being part of their Trunk or Treat event was an absolute joy! Walter and our other shelter dogs had a wonderful time making new friends and sharing the Subaru Love. Ziegler Subaru's Generous Support for Salk Elementary School - Nicholas P
Zeigler Subaru of Schererville once again supported Merrillville Community School Corporation's Salk Elementary School with a generous gift of $5,000 through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. Ten teachers were chosen by the administration to share the donation, receiving $500 each. Mrs. Brazil used the funds to purchase a set of dry erase boards, dry erase markers, and pocket charts for her classroom. Ms. Zylstra said she will use the money to buy paint, stencils, and watercolor brush markers. Mrs. Frey shared that she would purchase washable markers and manipulatives for activity stations for students to learn working together as collaborative team. Salk Elementary is always grateful to Ziegler Subaru for their continued support and generosity. This donation directly impacts the teachers and students, building a stronger community. The school is thankful for Ziegler Subaru's commitment to giving back and supporting education.
Sharing so much LOVE - Denise B
Zeigler Subaru of Schererville shared so much love by generously donating $24,000.00 with all of the children, youth, and adults with a disability at Chasing Dreams Learning Center through the Share the Love® Event. The LOVE donation has made such a significant impact in hundreds of lives in our community. The LOVE donation helped to provide FREE independent living skill programs, social programs, educational opportunities and summer camps. We are amazed and grateful to everyone at Zeigler Subaru of Schererville for all of the time and effort they put into helping Chasing Dreams Learning Center and their community. Our hearts are full with gratitude and love. Thank you for partnering with us and making futures brighter and dreams come true!
